Chimney Stacks, Pointing & Flaunching

Chimney stacks bear the brunt of wind and rain, making them prone to deteriorating mortar and loose pots over time. We carry out structural repointing, re-flaunching, and chimney repairs to keep your stack secure and waterproof.

When You Need Chimney Stacks, Pointing & Flaunching

Crumbled or missing mortar between your chimney bricks. A loose chimney pot wobbling in high winds. Cracked concrete flaunching holding the chimney pots in place. Debris falling into your fireplace or damp patches around the chimney breast indoors.

How We Do It

We erect scaffolding to safely access your chimney stack. We rake out damaged mortar joints and unsound flaunching. We repoint brickwork with fresh sand and cement mortar matched to your property. We re-flaunch the top mortar bed around the pots to shed rainwater effectively.

What to Expect

Most chimney repairs and repointing jobs take between 1 and 2 days depending on access and height.
